Summary:

This position is responsible for the repair of home appliances such as refrigerators, freezers (sealed and non-sealed systems), washers & dryers, gas & electric stoves, microwave ovens, dishwashers, TV home theatre and others. This position provides timely and quality repairs of customers' products while maintaining high customer service. • Provide proper customer service
• Knowledge of using small hand tools like screwdrivers to open appliance cases to the proper course of repair and electronic test equipment like volt/ohmmeters to diagnose faults and change faulty parts
• Disassemble appliances so that problems can be diagnosed and repairs can be made
• Observe and examine appliances during operation to detect specific malfunctions such as loose parts or leaking fluid
• Reassemble units after repairs are made, making adjustments and cleaning and lubricating parts as needed
• Refer to schematic drawings, product manuals, and troubleshooting guides in order to diagnose and repair problems
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency to meet customer time commitments
• Provide direction to a Technician Helper, as applicable
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
Skills
• Proven experience in repair of home appliances
• High School diploma or Electronics Repair & Service Diploma is preferred
• 21 to 40 years of age
• Must possess a valid driver's license
